Farmers markets for Carmarthen. There are lots on this site now. It is really worth a browse. Currently it is quite slow finding the markets so wait a few seconds for the list of markets to appear.

Local Food and Drink

Waverley Stores Vegetarian Restaurant

23 Lammas St, Carmarthen SA31 3AL, UK – 01267 236521

The restaurant part has a small, but very tasty looking selection of vegetarian meals. We had a soup and a roll, and a delicious bean burger. Would definitely go again if in the area.

I have loved the Waverley for a couple of years. Always good food, good value and lovely staff. The queue is a bit long sometimes but that shows how popular it is.

Aardvark Alternatives

6 Lammas St, Carmarthen SA31 3AD, UK – 01267 232497

Good store with plenty of choices, especially good sourdough spelt breads on their menu; has a loyalty scheme card although one has to spend a minimum of £10 to access it!

Brilliant range of gluten free goods, different types of no sugar sweetener s and coconut products .

Costa Coffee

Unit 7, St Catherines Walk, Carmarthen SA31 1GA, UK – 01267 236372

This is an amazing coffee place perfect for catching up with friends or celebrating an event. All staff are really kind and nearly always share a joke. The toilets are clean, the upstairs window has a great view and the drinks are incredible. This is overall one of the best places in the whole of Carmarthen. Phoenix xx

Thriving and with recently expanded seating upstairs I especially appreciated the charging sockets both plug and usb. The coffee and got chocolates are good in winter and the frostinos are good in summer. However occasionally there will be a coffee or hot chocolate with more foam than it should have so you get a short measure on it.

BigBarn has a totally brilliant map for Carmarthenshire showing all the local food producers. So if you want to know where your food comes from look no further!
The Kent & Sussex Tea and Coffee Company was established 26 years ago when the Smith family returned from India, where for two generations we had been involved with tea. The website contains information about all the different teas and coffees supplied together with regular updates on new additions to the range.
Coffee, tea, chocolates and pretty china and good gift ideas.
